Connections to Real Estate Agents or Lenders

Posted

Hello,

My name is Chris Bornet. I am new to real estate investment and do not have any experience besides the knowledge that is between my ears. I have gathered knowledge from books, podcasts, youtube videos. However in order to take my real estate journey to the next level. I need to start making connections with others in this business. Specifically, I am looking for a real estate agents. A little history of myself. I have a degree in Criminal Justice, have sales history while working in the restaurant business and I am currently a truck driver and have been for only a couple of months. Truck driving gives me the flexibility of time and money to focus on real estate. My expenses are very minimal which means I can focus most of my income on real estate properties. I have a five year plan to drive a truck over the road and buy real estate properties and rent them out during these five years to achieve financial freedom. I plan on doing that with duplex homes or three bedroom/two bath single family homes. My main focus is single family homes. I like the dependability and the stability of what a single family home can bring. I am looking for neighborhoods with a great school district and low crime in order to attract families. My home price range for single family homes would be under $150,000 and my price range for Duplex homes would be under $200,000. The current cities I am considering buying are Jacksonville, Tampa, Indianapolis, Houston, and Cleveland. Overall, im ready to take the next step.
