Newbie from Chattanooga, TN

Hi all! My name is Brenden Koon and I am a civil engineer in Chattanooga, TN. I've been listening to the BP podcast for about a year now and am ready to begin taking action towards owning my first investment property. My only real estate background so far is home ownership (if that counts), but I have been learning a lot from the BP community & podcast and plan to invest in multifamily long-term rentals. My goal in real estate investing is to offset my living expenses one by one by owning cash-flowing rental properties. This is a concept I heard in a BP favorite, Rich Dad Poor Dad - whenever you want a depreciating asset, buy an appreciating asset to pay for it.
