Hello Bigger Pockets members! I'm a full time RE agent and an avid investor since 1998 just outside NYC in NJ. I caught the bug while working for Deloitte in their Real Estate practice group and got an inside track on how REIT's made a lot of money. I figured I could start on a much smaller scale and earn some decent money on the side. Turns out my very first investment property now grosses almost double what Deloitte paid me a year. My investments now bring me in significant passive income each month allowing me to work in Real Estate full time without fear. I have the ability to go into a property and see its potential of what it could be. I've fixed up a number of homes myself including doing most of the plumbing, electrical, and whatever else it takes. I work with a few investors now in helping them locate property for flips and rentals however it would be great to meet more investors who are looking for similar opportunities here in northern NJ. I found Bigger Pockets by chance surfing the net. It seems like a great resource and community of like minded people and I look forward to being a active member.
