Myself, Melvyn Mangion, live on the island of Malta where it is within the culture of Maltese citizens to purchase their property. In the last years, there has been a boom in prices especially due to an influx of foreign workers moving in. This has led to many young Maltese couples not affording a home. They had to settle for a small apartment. What do you think would happen once the foreign workers leave the country, due to the recession caused by the pandemic?
