Hi BP forums! My name is Aaron and I am an engineer from Southeastern Wisconsin. My wife and I are currently renters in Milwaukee but are looking to buy a single family home in the Northern/North-Western suburbs of Chicago since I recently began a new role in the city. Our goal is to create long term wealth through real estate investments, not necessarily race to replace W2 income, as I have a well-paying profession that I enjoy. I'm very new to real estate but have enjoyed what I have been able to learn from the BP community in the last few months and am looking forward to what I can contribute to others. Welcome to BP!  I suggest diving into a whole bunch of podcasts and books.  Lots of good ones out there that will give you the knowledge you need.  It's also important to meet connections in your local market.  Local real estate meetups are great for that.  Good luck in your journey!
