Wanting to buy property in ALASKA

Trevor Halt
Posted

Hello BP members! It’s so exciting that we can log on and talk to people all over the place about real estate investing in that area. With that said,

I am looking to buy single family property in AK. I am going to visit in May 2021 to look around and decided which area I like. Does anyone have any suggestions or areas that they like personally? We are looking as far north as willow and as far south as homer and Seward. I think it’s called south central or the Kenai peninsula?? I am from Phoenix,AZ and the housing market is crazy over here. Thanks in advance for any information, it is greatly appreciated!

Hi Trevor, Alaska will not disappoint you! The Kenai Peninsula is a BEAUTIFUL place to live. I may be biased, but Homer is our favorite place to live on the Kenai Peninsula & Alaska. My husband and I just recently moved back to Homer after living in Anchorage for the last 8 years. We had investments in Anchorage and now have investments in Homer. It is a great market for short term rentals (Airbnb/VRBO) as Homer is a major destination.

I would be more than happy to talk more about Homer and the Kenai Peninsula with you!

@Jamie Rose is a great contact to talk about the Northern areas you are considering (Palmer, Wasilla)
