I am want to invest in real estate. Ideally I would like to build a portfolio starting with flipping houses and then move on to rentals. I know there are many things to learn before I begin, but I'd like some references as to where I should be getting sound information as to exactly where to begin. What type of research should I be doing to learn step by step what the process looks like on the books, and how to plan and project finances, budgets, timelines of projects. How to be realistic with goals and expectations of flipping houses.
