Hello all. My name is Brian Mathews. I'm getting started in real estate investing and trying to learn all I can so that I don't make a large mistake along the way. Mistakes are inevitable, just trying to minimize the damage. I'd like to flip houses and pick up a few rentals along the way for long term profitability. I'm currently an hvac contractor in Austin area, which can make winters a little harder to profit since they don't exist around here, so smoothing out hills and valleys is also another goal to real estate investing. I've worked a lot on repairs and rehabs on real estate, but always somebody else's deal and I'm on the other end, so would like to switch the ends of the pole. I'm not really into doing the work myself so much anymore, but have acquired a list of subs to assist me when needed.
