Hi new BP fam!

My name is John and I’m brand new to RE and BiggerPockets. I’m currently residing in Katy TX some 30 miles west of Downtown Houston. Like many of you I dread the 9-5, thought to myself there has to be more in life than this..After deciding that I do not want to be working the same old job for the next forty years of my life, I began reading and researching as much as I could on building wealth and being financially free. This led me to RE and BiggerPockets! I’m born and raised in Houston and recently moved to this side of town (previously lived in Tomball northwest side of town). I figured to get started on my first starter home why not do it in my own backyard. I am extremely excited to be embarking on this journey and looking forward to connecting with you all!
