New to Bigger Pockets and RE Investing

I am brand new to Real Estate investing (like brand new, I don’t have any properties yet). I work in banking and one of my clients actually introduced me to Bigger Pockets and I’ve been addicted ever since I created my account. Everyone’s positivity and willingness to help on here is so awesome. I am interested in Fix & Flips and Buy & Holds to build long-term wealth for my family and I.

Like I mentioned before, I am brand new to all of this but this is something I have been interested in for a very long time and am very excited about. My brain is a sponge and I am trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can from the guides on here and anyone willing to share their knowledge and expertise.

If anyone has any tips, comments or just wants to say hi, comment below and let’s connect!

@Alex Torres, welcome to BiggerPockets! I think the best advice someone can give someone starting off is to find your passion and focus on that one thing there are a lot of shiny objects in this industry and a lot of temptations to follow a different path than what you are on. Find one and stick to it, learn everything you can and become an expert. When you have achieved your version of success in that one thing then look for another and never stop learning.

Good luck!
