Airbnb Host/Investor/Agent in Columbus, OH

Hello BP World! I wanted to formally introduce myself as Marc Rice to the community here. I live in Columbus, OH where I currently run an Airbnb co-hosting company Tailwind Short Term Rentals, own one triplex in Merion Village, and am a licensed real estate agent at REAFCO. Having gone to Ohio State University, Columbus has been my home the past 5 years and I'm excited for the future growth of this city.

My journey in real estate began my senior year of college where I helped my broker/mentor sourcing off-market properties. This was a fantastic experience and allowed me to learn the ins and outs of the city, the deal flow process, and various facets of real estate in general. Fast forward to one year from that (Aug 2019), I was able to close on my first triplex by partnering with my good friend from college - I brought the off-market deal, he brought the W2. It worked out for both of us and we were able to learn about the rehab process first hand. While this triplex was closing, I was continuing to help my mentor and discovered the space of Airbnb. He had a few Airbnbs at the time and I took over as the operator to coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and guest communication. Throughout 2019 I continued to rehab the triplex with my college friend, grew the Airbnb business, and continue to help my mentor find off-market deals. 

Fast forward to now. I currently co-host 25+ Airbnbs in Columbus, am a licensed real estate agent with REAFCO, and am working on closing on my 2nd property. I would love to connect with investors who are purchasing off-market/on market properties in Columbus, OH  or who are interested in maximizing their returns through Airbnb rentals.
