Hello everyone!!

After being a member for almost a year I finally dare to write my first post. I always feel a little intimidate when talking/writing in English. My name is Enix Villamizar. I'm originally from Venezuela and move to the US around 5 years ago. I'm currently living in Queens, NY but I'm moving down to Orlando, FL by the end of the year where I plan to settle and finally start looking to buy my very first property.

After watching several webinars hosted by Brandon Turner, listening to a lot of podcasts and reading several books I think the best way to start in real estate for someone in my position (around 25k in savings, no other assets, and cero connections) is to house hack a small multifamily property and that's exactly what I plan to do. I'm thinking of a duplex or triplex. Getting an FHA loan and use 3.5% for the downpayment.

I know I have a long way to go and I feel as excited as overwhelm and scare a lot of times so any tips, advice, recommendations or kind words are highly appreciated :)

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.
