Introduction to the site

Hi guys! Just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully start meeting more experienced investors. I'm a 20 year old engineering and physics student at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia but am from Calgary, Alberta. I've always been interested in making money and I think real estate investing can really help me one day achieve financial freedom! I'm not sure if I'll be able to actually start investing any time soon since I don't have a ton of money saved up and don't have a permanent job, but I'd love to start as soon as I possibly can, so if you guys have any tips for me I'd love to hear them! I'm looking forward to joining this great community and learning lots from you guys!

Welcome Jacob! I'm an investor here in Calgary. That's awesome you're looking to get a head start in real estate. Keep listening to the podcasts, check out the MLS to just analyze properties in your area, read some of the books offered here on BP, and I would also suggest surrounding yourself with like minded individuals.
