Hello everyone I am Myesha Smith, a newbie from East Orange/Newark NJ and so far I like what I'm seeing. You guys give great tips and the forum discussions are on point. I'm always reading and gathering information to start a successful investment business of my own. I wish to get started out in wholesaling and fix and flips. I was a realtor with Weichert Realtors but the money is too slow as a sales associate. To me it's not all about the money but as an agent you spend a lot of money on gas and time on the phone for practically nothing. I couldn't see myself putting in so much work to finally get a listing after 12 months so I just gave it up. I worked there for 1 year with no reward. The fix and flip side is really what I can be passionate about. It seems very exciting and fun. I love interior design so to have my input on the design of a home is very intriguing. But the wholesale aspect will get me started and gain me the funds I need to start my first fix and flip. This is a new and exciting journey and can't wait to meet new people and possibly some partners. I'm dedicated to anything that I feel is worth my time. So these two aspects of real estate investing are definitely worth it. For now I'm working on a women's accessory line with a few fashions and shoes, an urban novel and what I like to call an e-how booklet on how to start your own business with little to no money. Hope to interact with some of you soon!
