New REI from Fort Worth (Rehab flips)

Howdy, folks!

My brother in Dallas has been a hard money lender for some time and also has several rental properties there. He would like to begin flipping as well.

I am in Fort Worth and ready for a change from IT work. Although a geek, I have experience in financial services, teaching, and management. I also earned an overpriced and nearly worthless MBA. I am ready to work for myself.

I have begun participating in a local REI club, scoured the net for rich veins of information like BP and 123flip.com, and driven many miles in target neighborhoods. My brother has the capital and legal abilities. I am essentially the project manager. In addition to finding properties, I am building a network of business professionals to work with so that we can eventually have multiple concurrent rehabs keeping us all busy.

I look forward to sharing with you fine folks.

Charles
