Hello!

My name is Vanity and I found the BP podcasts a little over a year ago.  My previous job involved lots of driving, so I devoured episode after episode while on the road.  Since then, I've had a lot of major life changes, which have contributed to my growing interest in real estate.  Last summer, I helped my dad sell his property that I had been living in.  He had purchased the home as a foreclosure, with the idea being that I would live in it and pay him back gradually, while also making some much needed repairs and updates to the property, and ultimately owning the property myself.  We ended up selling for nearly twice the purchase price a little less than four years later.  Two weeks after closing, I got married and moved to South Korea!  I am now teaching English here, while also trying to prepare myself for another big move in six months.  As a military spouse, I am interested in learning more about long-distance buy-and-hold real estate investing, as well as opportunities to work remotely in the field to build up my knowledge and experience.
