Can't Upgrade your BP Account if you Live in Toronto, Canada?

I'm trying to sign up to upgrade my account but apparently it wouldn't' accept my credit card because it's a Canadian credit card. I reached out to Bigger Pockets support and they said that if you live in Canada, you can't be a paid member? That's really odd since one of the text box' says to insert "postal code". Anyone in Canada having this issue?
