Newbie looking to get started in house hacking

Hi BP,

I just wanted to start and say thank you to all the developers and contributors to this website. Bigger Pockets is still relatively new to me but has taught me so much in so little time and it would not have been possible without everyone's effort.

I am new to REI and have yet to do my first deal. I have been listening to the BP podcast daily and am currently reading The Book on Rental Property Investing. I am very interested in the idea of house hacking duplexes or small multifamily properties in the journey to live for free and eventually be able to do what I want, when I want. Before all that can happen though I know I need to put in the work.

I am looking to connect with investors in the Denver area who have experience in the types of properties I mentioned above. I would be more than willing to use my residential construction background, young and able body, or automotive skills to provide value to the relationship. I have other ways I can help out as well that can be seen on my LinkedIn profile or by messaging me. Thank you all in advance and I'm excited to be a part of and contribute to the bigger pockets community!

@Daniel Haberkost

Thank you Daniel. Yes that makes sense to lay it all out clearly from the start.
