Prospective Investor in Chicago Metro

Hi All,

I'm a newbie to the BP universe but very interested in diversifying my portfolio through real estate after 22+ years working in the corporate tax world. My wife and I recently designed and built our home in the northern suburbs of Chicago, the experience of which has heightened my desire to start investing in real estate. As a professional with two kids I don't have time for flipping or BRRR investing but would very much like to start investing in rental properties. By next spring my goal is to start making offers on small multifamily properties in the Chicago metro area, Milwaukee or anywhere else in the Midwest where the numbers make sense.

Many thanks,
