Boy am I glad to have found BP!

Hi BP people, my name is Agustin but my friends call me Gus. I got bit with the RE bug last year after finally reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and instantly had only one thing in mind... learn everything I can and get into REI. Which led me to finding the BP podcast and obsessively listening to Brandon and David every day on my commute to and from work (I can usually listen to an entire episode on my way to work and another on my way back).

A little about me, I graduated college in December of 2018 and after making a comment to buddy of mine from my Rugby team that I was really interested in getting into real estate anyway I could, he connected me with a business partner of his that owns a construction company. I quickly was hired after only a few weeks out of college (lucky... I know!) as an office assistant, but was promptly promoted to assistant project manager after 6 months. Although we are mainly focused on commercial properties, I'm learning heaps about what it takes to renovate and/or build structures from the ground up. We mainly focus on commercial buildings such as Rite Aids, KFC, McDonalds, and Wendy's but we are growing quickly and looking for new opportunities. The experience is great and I believe it will help me once I start investing in my own properties, especially during the rehab stages of the project.

Happy to be here, and ready to learn from this great source of knowledge I recently found.
