New investor seeking advice

Michael Quinn
Posted

My name is Mike and I’m a new member on the bigger pockets website.

I found this website while looking at wholesaling but I got sucked in to the Investing side.

I am currently a Air Traffic Controller in the USMC, and could clear 6 figures easily when I become a civilian again, but my goal is to generate passive income because I don’t think I’m build for the normal 9-5.

I was just wondering what the best way to get into investing if I’m someone with little to no money, no car, and pretty mediocre credit.

I figure wholesaling would be the best way to get my foot in the door to help me make contacts and build money to invest with. In the past 3 weeks I’ve watched about about 7 days worth of YouTube videos on the subject.

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or could point me in a good direction. I would love to find a mentor that I could. Exchange time for knowledge with, as I said I don’t have a lot of money and I don’t want to throw what little I have to some online mentor that’s just going to keep asking for more and more money.

Any advice would help!
