New Member Looking to Invest in Oklahoma

Hello everyone, I moved to the Oklahoma City area about 2 years ago and I've been digesting bigger pockets blog posts and podcasts ever since.  I'm planning on purchasing my first deal before years end.  I'm interested in purchasing single family homes and/or small multifamily.  I'd be interested in connecting with anyone who shares real estate interests especially in the OKC area.

Welcome to the OKC investing community! This is a great place to be. 

I definitely agree with what @Kurt Michaelson said about meetup.com. Some of the real estate meetups are posted on here, but there are quite a few other ones that are only on meetup.com. The first of the month is a great time to get involved because it seems like a lot of the meetups happen the first two weeks of the month. 

The OKC investing/investor community is super welcoming and helpful. When I was first getting started here I got SOOO much out of the meetups (and I still do!). People are incredibly willing to share their knowledge and resources.
