Hello All, my name is Joshua Tucker. I've been a lurker on the site for a few months now, slowly gaining confidence as I learn from the great resources and community found here. I only wish I had found it sooner. About me, I am 32 years old, living in Kyle, Texas. I've spent the last 13 years working full-time for an aerospace company. I am also in my junior year at Texas State University. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and an interest in generational wealth for my family. I have often come up with potential business ideas, but always come to the same conclusion...I do not have the time or resources get started. This constant cycle eventually led me to the thought of investing for passive income. I became really interested in the potential of owning rentals after finding out that a previous landlord had a portfolio of 50 properties. In 2016, I purchased my first house as a primary residence. My intrigue was somewhat put on the back burner until recently discovering BiggerPockets. The past few months have been filled with non-stop podcasts, RE books, videos, and Redfin searches. I have a path to become debt free in the next few months, and will be vetting a couple sources of private capital. My goal this year is to complete 2 deals. I look forward to staying motivated and engaging with you all in the forums!
