Hey everyone! My name is Michael Reignier. I am a new real estate investor in Green Bay, WI who is looking to jump start my journey to financial freedom. I am in a rather unique situation because of my young age of 20 and early financial savings from having a great job. I am hoping to purchase my first rental property, at this point I'm thinking a duplex, within the next year. I am not planning on "house hacking", but rather renting out both sides to maximize my cash flow. I have done a lot of research in the past few months by reading online, reading books, watching Youtube videos, listening to podcasts, and even talked to coworkers of mine for hours who invest in real estate. Two of my favorite books I have read have been BiggerPockets Presents: The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing and Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad. I have become intoxicated with the idea of having money work for me and not working for money. I am not against hard work by any means and intend on working very hard, but I am very opposed to working 40 hour weeks and living paycheck to paycheck for the rest of my life. I have a long road ahead of me, but with all of the incredible people a part of the BiggerPockets community I know I won't be alone.

Happy Holidays!

Michael
