Has anyone used  a hard money lender  to assist in kicking off  their real estate endeavors?  If so what has been your experience ?

I haven't personally, but it will depend on your goals. There are a lot of hard money lenders out there that are almost predatory because their rates and fees are so high.

Talk to local investors in your area. They will know who the reputable private or hard money lenders are and can advise you on who to use and who to stay away from.
