Selling my home, please advice

Delia Cintron
Posted

I am currently selling my home in Gurnee Illinois. My husband and I purchased the property for $169,000. When we first bought the house, we just put three percent down. The remodeled house is up for sale now for two months and is at the price of $209,000. We had to move from Illlinois to Florida because my husband had a job transfer. The house in Illinios is now unoccupied. My husband and I told the realtor to lower the price down to $200,000 but the realtor just lowered it to $209,000. We are going to purchase multi-family properties but we are waiting until the house is sold. We are concerned that it has not been sold and we're now thinking to rent the property after the three months are up. We are not sure which way to go, if we list it again or rent it. Please some advice, thank you.
