New To Real Estate in the Western Massachusetts Area

Hello! I am new to bigger pockets and real estate investing in general. I have read a handfull of books over the last few months, but now feel it is time to start networking and analyzing properties. I just started using the buy and hold calculator to analyze properties but don't feel comfortable with all my estimates yet. I am hoping to purchase a duplex by the end of 2018. My husband and I plan to live in one unit and rent out the other.

I am hoping to get to know other investors in and outside of the Western Massachusetts area. Right now I feel that I need help with analyzing properties and also setting and feeling confident in the criteria I set. I look forward to networking with people in the Springfield, MA area to better understand our market.
