Hello! New Member from St. Louis, Missouri
Hi all, my name is Ryan Carr. I’ve always had a passion for real estate and even got my college degree in real estate/construction management. After graduating, I bought my first Fixer-Upper and lived in it for 9 yrs with two roommates paying rent. After getting married and starting a family, I finally renovated the home, sold it, and bought a new home in the suburbs. This process has reinvigorated my passion for real estate
I work in the family business, and my wife is a lawyer in the condo/homeowner association field. Our jobs provide some extra disposable income that we would like to apply toward investing in real estate. We are currently seeking some buy and hold rental investment properties, mainly small multi-family properties or single-family homes in the St. Louis area, specifically South City. I’ve reached out to my mortgage broker and real estate agent who have helped me with my last two houses, but I would like to find professionals that have more experience in dealing with investors and investment properties. In particular, I would like to find a good agent and property management company to work with.
Any suggestions, contacts, information, or tips would be greatly appreciated. My wife and I can’t wait to start this journey with our family!
