New REI - Philadelphia, PA
Hello everyone! My name is Andrew Scott and I'm beginning my journey in REI! I was born and raised in Delco and after moving around for the last 10 years I've returned to the Philadelphia region to work as an engineer in the Navy Yard. I'm also currently serving as an officer with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in an Engineer Company. Yes, I work for both the Army AND Navy! I've been prey to downsizing, cut contracts, and buyouts over the last few years and although I enjoy both jobs now, I'm looking for my financial freedom.
Any advice, guidance, or suggestions on what steps to take moving forward are greatly appreciated. I'm highly motivated to learn and have been studying several strategies through BP, published resources, and any other source I can get my hands on. I'm going to start attending local MeetUp and DIG events but happy to connect with local REI's here. Looking forward to meeting new business partners, and friends!
Thank you for your time and replies!

Welcome to BP.
If you know what kind of investor you are (buy and hold, fix and flip etc.) you just need to find your first deal and go from there. Nothing will change until you do it, no matter how many books you reed. Wish you best of luck and feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions.
