Newbie ready for action in Newport News, VA

Greetings to all! My name is Tara Bennett. My husband and I purchased a home last year and set a goal to start searching for rental properties in March/April this year. I started researching different topics (auctions, short sales, beginners guides to real estate) and found a youtube video where the guy mentioned biggerpockets.com about a billion times. I had to check it out. I've been listening to podcasts and reading nonstop (before work, after work, during breaks and lunches) since I found the site . I can't get enough!! I am so grateful for the wealth of information that you have provided to me already and can't wait to land my first deal.

My goal is to have enough cash flow to quit my job and be more available for our children. My current schedule (along with online class) doesn't leave me with much time for extra-curricular activities. I love to travel and be around my family and I am not currently able to accomplish that doing what I do for a living.

I would like to start wholesaling as quickly as possible. I listened to podcast 25 yesterday and Matt Whiteside intruduced me to deedgrabbing. I plan on getting leads from the list of properties with back taxes and driving for dollars this week. If anyone has any suggestions or tips please send them my way!!
