Greetings BP Community! I live in Minneapolis, MN with my wife and two dogs. I am new to the real estate game and am eager to network, learn, and enter into my first of many buy-and-hold multifamily real estate deals in 2018.  Since being bitten by the real estate bug in November of 2017, I have read as much as possible to educate myself on buy-and-hold, multi-family real estate investing. With a foundation of basic knowledge established, I am excited to begin networking with the BP community and taking concrete steps to acquire properties in the coming months.

I look forward to  networking and engaging in team building opportunities. I seek to immerse myself in the real estate investment community in order to learn and find individuals that I can collaborate with to foster mutual success. I look forward to meeting investors from the Twin Cities area!

My short term goals for real estate is to purchase cash-flowing small multifamily properties in the Twin Cities metro area. I aim to purchase 50 units in 5 years and am excited to grind every day to reach this goal.

Longer term, I would like to invest in small apartment units, and I would love to own 150 units one day. 

I formerly earned my Masters of Public Health degree and worked for the state of Minnesota in state health policy, but since being bitten by the real estate bug in late 2017, I devoted my time and energy to learning everything I can about real estate investment.

Good luck Brian!  Good multi family deals are getting harder to find in the twin cities area so make sure your numbers are solid before diving in.  Don't be surprised if you spend a lot of time running numbers on bad deals before you find a good property to start with.
