Hi all,
My name is Brian Reiner aaand this is my first post!
I’ve been lurking around BP the last few weeks and have already learned a TON from the podcasts, articles, and forum posts. Thankful for all the contributors who make this community welcoming and educational! I heard about BP from a friend who heard through a friend - @Blake La Grange . This speaks volumes to the credibility and sincerity of the community.
Little about me:
Ten years experience in reno and new construction, also a bit of property management. Right now my wife and I are currently on our third live-in flip. And since I’m particular (ok, a bit stubborn) about the quality of workmanship (doing it all myself), we’re averaging about two years or so per flip. (Full-time W2, three kiddos, and life in general has made this process a bit slow)
For a while now I’ve had this nagging feeling that there’s got to be a better way to leverage our time and finances. (And seven months w/out a working kitchen does that also). I’m intrigued by the various investment vehicles that I’ve learned about on BP — now just trying to figure out what will work best for us.
After listening to the podcasts featuring Grant Cardone and Bruce Petersen, it was an eye opener to think about scaling up faster than I had initially thought possible. Instead of just focusing on one SFR every two-three years, I'm interested in taking the leap to multi-family. Now just trying to understand the requirements and limitations, whether this is something I can/should do on my own or if I need a partner/syndicator.
Looking forward to continuing to learn and getting to know the community better!
