New from SW Washington
Hello Bigger Pockets members!
My name is Travis and I am joining from Southwest Washington/Southwest Idaho. I am 29 years of age and currently reside just north of Vancouver, WA. I have lived most of my life in the Boise, ID area and would eventually like to move back there along with my wife and two daughters. I have been lurking for quite some time and have listened to about 100 BP Podcasts thus far. My wife and I recently sold our first home and it has jumpstarted my desire to get into REI.
My short term goal is to build my network and begin building some operating capital through flips/wholesaling as well as gain knowledge through assisting my peers wherever possible. My wife and I are already working a few potential "deals" and hope to be starting our first flip shortly. We plan on doing this while maintaining my W2 job for income and ease of financing.
I am very excited to begin networking with the BP community and to explore what I can offer my fellow investors.
Longer term I hope to build passive income through a portfolio of BRRR properties/other revenue generating real estate and eventually move full time into REI. I hope to build business opportunity, partnerships, and ultimately give back to the community.
I have recently started looking into getting my Brokers license. I am blessed with a strong W2 income as a project manager and mechanical engineer that will allow us easy financing to get our real estate venture started. This career lends me a wealth of experience in managing large projects and industrial renovations. I also have extensive construction experience prior to my career in engineering.
I look forward to hearing from anyone in a similar situation or networking with anyone in my region or abroad! I am open to any advice and will do my best to lend some where appropriate.
Best regards,
-Travis
