Hi there. My name is Jim Crider and my wife and I are beginning our journey in real estate. Residing in Dallas, Texas, we are currently focusing DFW as well as the area around my home town, New Braunfels, TX. After listening to a few hundred hours of BiggerPockets podcasts we have decided we would like to focus on buy-and-hold properties, most likely making our way in via house-hacking. Our goal for this is 40 doors by the time I reach the age of 40, giving us right at a 12 year runway. Beyond this, we are interested in vacation rentals with a goal of owning a place in Telluride, Colorado that provides cash flow as well as providing a mountain retreat for our family and friends. We are focused on our goal but flexible with the means of accomplishing it. Hey, maybe we learn commercial is more our thing. We will see. But we have to jump in to learning and doing find out.
