Newbie from Eastern Washington State

Hi BiggerPockets Community!

My name is Sara Marshall (no relation to the movie :) ) and I am a newbie from Tri-Cities (Richland, Kennewick & Pasco), Washington. I am a CPA by day and am currently working with a start up CPA firm in my area. I am also a bit of an animal lover and my husband and I have two rescue cats and two pugs all of who are very spoiled. I discovered BiggerPockets by chance a couple months ago and have been hooked on real estate investing ever since, listening to every podcast I can and devouring real estate books as time allows. Investing in real estate is something I have always been interested in, but thanks to BiggerPockets, something that seemed like a far off goal now seems attainable. I know there is a lot of hard work involved and I am up for the challenge! I am so excited to have joined this community and to get to know you all better and learn from everyone. I have yet to find my first deal and am still trying to determine what market to invest in, whether the Tri-Cities or one of the outlying towns. I have my work cut out for me, but I am excited to be on this adventure!
