New from NJ/NY area!

Hello all! My name is Roger Johnson, I live in Maplewood, NJ which is in Essex County, less than 30 mins from NYC.  I'm a 34 yr old architect and I have two 2-family houses (one I live in and one in Newark) and I'm looking to get into a more serious real estate investing journey.  My short term goal is flip a property this year and to build that into 3-5 next year!  I would like to use my architecture background to do some interesting (but inexpensive) designs in rundown properties to maximize profit potential!  Hope to learn from the experienced members and possibly purchase a property from one of the many investors.
