Hello, I'll start with a little introduction about myself, my name is Sam I'm 27 of age at the moment from Waukegan, Illinois which is about thirty minutes away from Chicago. I joined bigger pockets to get education on real estate and hopefully find a mentor who can help me grow and hope to provided them back with some sort of benefit I am a newbie just for a heads up lol. If anyone is looking for help at their firm please feel free to contact me I would love to help, right now I'm working for a family owned business which gets boring I want some more excitement in my work that's why I choose to learn about real estate, I've always had a passion for it since I was younger. Would like to thank you if you took some time to read this! Much love.

welcome to bp @Sam Bhatti

Go through all the podcasts, and read the recommended books on BP. That will be a good start.

Search for REIA in your area, plus go to meetup as well. Avoid the ones that "oversell" their agenda. Those are more than likely pitches to sell their programs.

Once you show up consistently and network, you will find the more experienced investors where you can offer to shadow in order to get mentor-ship.

Any experienced investors who approach you via your post are likely to promote something. YOU have to go out there to seek your mentors out.

Good luck!
