Hello BiggerPockets community. My name is Jake and I live in the north metro area of Minneapolis. My job is currently in Law Enforcement but like many others on here, I have found my true passion in creating a life filled with passive income to support my family and to do things we love. I have found real estate to be the vehicle that I am most excited about and addicted too.
Since I have found this awesome social media network back in February, I have listened to almost all of the podcasts, have read many books, and spent a lot of time reading the forums/blog. I am also taking my real estate license exam next week and then I will be finishing the last two courses that I need hopefully in the few weeks after that. I am also attending my first networking event next week.
My goal is to start a wholesale/wholetail business and become a master at it. I have firsthand experience working in law enforcement and seeing what distressed properties can do to a neighborhood. I want to have to the chance to help revitalize neighborhood's through obtaining those properties and sending them to an investor who will fix it up and help create better/safer communities.
Anyways, enough about me. I look forward to connecting with all of you and meeting you all. If there is anything I can do to help any of you or provide value to you, please let me know!
