Greetings from Laurel, MD!
Hello! Just joined Biggerpockets. My name is Clint Woo and I am looking into getting into the real estate market. I have absolutely no experience in the field, but I see it as a way to achieve my goals of having enough passive rental income to work my current dream job as a physical therapist part time instead of fulltime and take care of my mother financially. I live in the laurel, MD area (20723) and have saved $10k over the past two years of working. I have good credit (780), but I have a mountain of school loans ($160k which I paid down from close to $190k two years ago) and need another way then just grinding 60-70 hours/wk at two hospitals/clinics. I rented a few books from the library and am diving into the biggerpockets youtube videos when I have time.

@Account Closed welcome to the site! What sort of interest are you paying on that 160k? You may be better off focusing on destroying that debt as the first plan of action.
I'd highly suggest that you check out the podcasts.
Congrats on cutting 30k in debt and building up some reserves!
