Greetings,

I am Robert, and I am glad to have found such an active forum full of real estate investors from all around the country.  I can see there is a great deal to learn about, and I am eager to soak up as much information as I can.  A bit about myself - I have served in the military, worked in construction, and in the oil fields.

I have lived all around the world and settled in SATX to be near family about ten years ago.  Some of my pastimes are martial arts, firearms training, writing stories (I writes scripts and novels in my free time as a creative outlet), and staying fit.  I also cook and bake from time to time.  I am also an animal lover and one of my novels and one of my movie scripts have main characters who are pigs (my favorite animal).

So why am I here.  I have always thought I was capable of doing great things, and recently realized that real estate development might be an area where there is no ceiling for me to hit.  As long as you have drive, vision, and passion, you can go anywhere.  Many other jobs I found to be too routine, too boring, too predictable, and felt I was selling myself short.  I am never low on creative energies and have vision for the potential that can come from something - such as real estate.

My goals right now are to make new friends and connections, learn all about real estate development, and then one day become very successful creating lifestyle properties from homes,  apartments, and who knows what else.  I love seeing a vision come to life.
