I hope you're all doing well. 

Life is an amazing journey. I've come full circle and I'm, once again, living in the Midlands of South Carolina after quite an adventure.

I'm a Marine Corps veteran and father of a healthy,  1 1/2 year old son and a 9 year old fur baby of the canine type.  :)

I am very grateful to be here and I'm grateful to be a newly joined Pro Member of BP.  

This is all new to me, so I've started analyzing mock deal evaluations (using the BP calculators) to help get comfortable with the math process.  I've also started reading (lurking) in the forums to absorb as much info as possible.  I'm also looking at the webinars and have begun skimming over some of the available free ebooks here.   What a wealth of knowledge and info BP has to offer!

I see that a networking event is schedule for the end of July near Charleston, but I don't currently see any Networking events in the Columbia area listed.

I have a strong desire to surround myself with people in real estate (I have a lot to learn), so I'm considering hosting, or at least organizing, an event in the Columbia area in the near future.  

Any thoughts?

Any suggestions to a complete newbie are absolutely welcome. 

Also, I welcome and ask for any recommendations of excellent real estate agents, lawyers, appraisers, property managers, etc. for the greater Columbia, SC area (Even the state of SC).
