I've been on here for over 2 years and I still haven't done an introduction so why not now.

How the heck did I get here?!?! It all started about 6 years ago with a holy crap moment. I was 22, still living at my parents, dropped out of college (I was told by a professor that I was a terrible writer and would never be a great lawyer), had a 9-5 job working at a title company and now I AM EXPECTING A BABY! I had been talking to a few local investors over the last year and reading a lot of books. Now I had to put what I knew into action, but how.

After being offered a promotion without a raise I knew my current job wasn't going to help. So I put some feelers out and was offered a job by several agents. I worked as a paid assistant/trainee for a year before my first deal fell in my lap. It was the most complicated and risky deal I have ever done but made me more money than any deal sense.

Now I was an expert, RIGHT...WRONG! I then purchase 3 more properties in the summer of 2006. If you know a bit of California history you'll probably remember that August of 2006 was the peek of the market. I used hard money for 2 of these transactions and was left holding quit a substantial debt afterward.

I also managed to buy a overpriced home for the 3 of us and followed that purchase buy 2 overpriced cars. You know, because I was going to be RICH. I was and EXPERT. The house, 2 cars, and well, everything else that wasn't nailed down was repossessed or sold. I learned more about myself and business in the year I lost everything then I had in the previous 3. You learn very quickly what is important to you become the cheapest investor on the face of the planet.

We moved into one of my dads rentals and I proceeded to develop a game plan. I have been buying and selling flips with my parents money for the last year and a half successfully and am now taking on partners. Things are looking good again.
