Hey fellow BPers,

My name is Katelyn, and my husband and I are located right outside of Greenville, South Carolina. We've just begun delving into the idea of REI, and I'm so grateful that my brother pointed me in the direction of BiggerPockets just a few weeks ago, as I am as novice as they come.

My husband just got his real estate license-- we are really looking forward to learning the market from all aspects.  We just had our first baby in December, so we are excited to begin making a living without getting stuck in the rat race.   

When it comes to investing, we are still trying to decide how to begin.  It seems like everyone is moving to Greenville right now!  We have an area of interest... the up and coming arts district... but we're not quite sure whether we should start by flipping or buying and holding.  I'm trying to glean as much information from this site as possible, so I look forward to getting active on the forums!
