My husband and I are just getting into real estate investing. We grew up in Montana and Alaska, but have lived in Utah for over 6 years. I am a CPA in tech and my husband is an engineering manager in the semi conductor industry. We have two puppies and love taking advantage of the outdoors any time we can. We currently own our home and plan to rent it out down the road when we move out of state.

Our goal is to buy our first real estate property (a single family home or townhouse) in Utah county by the end of 2018. We are in the process of figuring out financing and finding a real estate agent who specializes in investment properties. We would be so grateful if anyone has suggestions. We are also wondering the best way to determine the average rent in the area.

We look forward to making connections on Bigger Pockets!
