Hi BiggerPockets Community.  

I have been listening the podcasts, reading the books and engaging in the webinars for the past week or two.  This site/community is awesome for first time real estate investors like myself. 

I am a loving father of two kids living in Richmond, Virginia.  I work with the government as an environmental specialist.  However my life goal is to get my wife and myself free from our jobs so we can enjoy our kids as they grow. 

I am a former University of Maryland athlete and love the idea of competing on the new playing field that is life. I attack everyday with a relentless drive to be successful.  I know that with this passion for real estate and our life goals, my family will ultimately achieve the financial freedom we desire.
