Newbie in SF Bay Area

Hi everyone.

Im in the East Bay here in Cali and ever since I learned how real estate works I feel like an idiot paying 3k per month in rent for a small apartment...

My first intro to the real estate world and actually how I heard of BP was when I read The Book on Flipping Houses by J Scott. If you see this, thank you J. It honestly changed my life. Before that book I had absolutely no clue as to how real estate worked and completely believed it was something I could never do.

Then I read The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner. Thank you also Brandon. That book plus The Book on Investing in Real Estate with No (and Low) Money Down made me realize that even though I don't have a lot of money to put down on anything, there are still ways to make it happen.

Anyway I'm super excited to finally be on the forums. I'm here to be a sponge while also making my start and hopefully making my first purchase this year.

Hope to get to know you all and I'll be looking for a meet in the area.

Thank you BP
