Newbie from Central Connecticut

Hi everyone. My name is Keegan and I'm an accountant in the Greater Hartford area of Connecticut. I worked for several years as an accountant in a property management company and am looking to become a real estate investor myself. I bought my primary residence a couple years ago now and am hoping to use investing to allow my wife and I to travel more and enjoy our time together instead of grinding away in unsatisfying jobs. I look forward to meeting like-minded people in these forums and appreciate any advice the community can offer.
