Moving to Columbus, Ohio

I have been a long time reader and have gathered a lot of useful information from being a member here.  At the beginning of 2017,  I will be moving to Columbus for a new job.

It will be a year or two before I feel comfortable with the area to want to pull the trigger and purchase a property.  In the meantime,  I will want to network with agents, contractors or anyone that is involved in investing so I will be looking into club and networking events.

Since I will not know anyone,  I will want to stay busy outside of my normal work hours and would like to find an investor, flipper, or contractor to do some extra work for in the evenings or weekends.  Does anyone have any suggestion as the best way to get in touch with that market?

I can provide a resume and references.  I have always worked in the residential construction market and a good opportunity opened up in Columbus in the commercial market which is the reason for my move.

Thanks,

Aaron
