Hi All,

My wife and I started our journey in Real Estate Investing in October 2016. We're doing this part time as we both have full time jobs/careers in the Biotechnology Field and Federal Government, respectively. What is our long term goal? 100 units! We're aiming high with a goal of replacing her income first and then mine.  We have one rental property that I purchased (as a primary residence) when I left the military and obtained a job with the Federal Government here in Maryland. So we have 99 more to go.

Our short term goal is to fix and flip and use some of those proceeds to purchase rental properties and stash some cash in the bank. Of course, we'll likely use BRRRR strategy to built our portfolio faster and those proceeds will help.

We currently have a row home in Baltimore that is being rehabbed and we expect it to be finished the week before Christmas and get it on the market shortly thereafter. Great timing eh? Hopefully winter isn't too harsh for us this year...

I'll put together the numbers and lessons learned soon, but there's definitely a lot that you don't know until you jump in and do it. I thank my realtor of 5+ years for bringing the deal to us and push us over the hump into Real Estate Investing. It's been great and we're already looking for the next deal!
