Hi Everyone! My name is Jake Garay, I'm a new member to the BiggerPockets Forums. I currently live in Dutchess County, New York, about an hour north of NYC. 

My background and beginnings in real estate comes from my family. My father has been a general contractor and real estate investor for over 30 years, so that is what I grew up in. Personally, I am a licensed Realtor in the State of New York, and am the CEO and Founder of Realty Resolutions, a real estate investment company that right now focuses on Dutchess, Westchester, Putnam, and Orange County. I also am part owner of Olde Stone Kitchens & Flooring, and have done some design work in the past. **If you're an investor, we give big discounts specifically to investors on kitchen/ bathroom cabinets, countertops, tile, hardwood and laminate flooring, as well lighting fixtures.** I also have a background in sales, having once led a sales team of roughly 600 people. 

My hope and intention with joining the BiggerPockets community is to be able to meet some really great people, help out in whichever way, shape, or form that I can, and hopefully continue to learn!
